What Information We May Collect
In order to process your booking or enquiry, and to ensure that your travel arrangements run smoothly and meet your requirements, we may need to use the information you provide (such as:

Under the GDPR 2018, we take full responsibility for ensuring the proper security measures are in place to protect your information along with providing any access request in a timely manner. In order to fulfill bookings, we must pass the information (as detailed above) on to the relevant suppliers of your travel arrangements (eg, hotels). The information may also be provided to public authorities such as customs/immigration if required by them, or as required by law.
Additionally, outside the European Economic Area (EEA), controls on data protection may not be as stringent as in the EEA. We will only pass any information that is strictly relevant to your holiday to the suppliers concerned with your holiday. This applies to any sensitive information you may give us (dietary needs, disabilities etc.). If we cannot pass this information to the relevant suppliers, we cannot provide your booking. In making a booking, you consent to this information being passed to the relevant persons.
Cotswold Journeys will never sell personal information. Our employees and associated companies are obliged by us to respect confidentiality. We will not use your information, or information provided by you concerning others in your party, for any purpose other than carrying out your booking, or, with your permission, to inform you of other offers in the future.

We send you, with your permission, regular email newsletters to keep you up to date with everything going on at Cotswold Journeys such as new walking routes, offers and news. Users can subscribe through an online automated process should they wish to do so but do so at their own discretion. Some subscriptions may be manually processed through prior verbal or written agreement with the user.
Subscriptions are taken in compliance with UK Spam Laws detailed in the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003. All personal details relating to subscriptions are held securely and in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998 and GDPR 2018. No personal details are passed on to third parties nor shared with companies or people outside of the company that operates this website. In compliance with UK Spam Laws and the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003 subscribers are given the opportunity to un-subscribe at any time through an automated system.
