How To Book
Please send an initial enquiry by using the on-line enquiry form or by calling us by phone to discuss your requirements. Once you have decided to go ahead, we will ask you to complete a booking form and pay an appropriate deposit – we will only take the deposit once the holiday arrangements have been made. You may also pay by credit card through our secure payment system at www.worldwalks.com (this is our sister website).

Local expertise and unrivalled customer service
We are based near the summit of Cleeve Hill, overlooking the beautiful town of Cheltenham, located exactly midway between the northern and southern points of the Cotswolds and therefore in the very heart of the region. The founder of Cotswold Journeys was the first to offer a programme of self-guided walking holidays here over twenty years ago, now much imitated by companies outside the region, which are therefore unaware of local conditions. If you would like us to call you to discuss your holiday in advance, we are happy to do so. If a problem arises during your tour we are here to resolve it.
If you require suggestions about getting to the Cotswolds, or about onward arrangements at the end of you holiday, we are happy to help. For tours in the northern Cotswolds – the Heart of the Cotswolds, the Best of the Cotswolds and the Grand Tour – we will meet you on your day of arrival if possible.
Route notes, maps, luggage transfers
Our route notes are clear and well researched. Accompanying the notes are the best available highly detailed maps with the route marked on them. We offer the route notes in loose leaf A4 format. This means that you need only carry with you the notes required for each day. Your luggage is transported daily between your accommodations – you will leave your luggage in the place suggested by your host or hotelier and it will be collected during the day and transported to your destination.
Accommodation
We know all the accommodation providers in the area and we use only those which we know can provide the sort of service our customers expect. At the same time we are always on the look-out for new ones – we are aware that properties change hands and standards can suffer. Tell us the level of accommodation you require – whether B & B or luxury hotel – and we will be able to make the reservations accordingly.
Financial security
Any payments you make to us are completely protected. In accordance with The Package Travel, Package Holidays and Package Tours Regulations 1992, all customers booking with Cotswold Journeys are securely held in a third party client account, where the funds remain until after the tour has finished.
