Highly Experienced. Local Knowledge. Established In 1985.

We live in The Cotswolds. We love The Cotswolds. It goes without saying that we’d love to share our knowledge and expertise of this staggeringly beautiful area with you.

With over 35 years of experience organising self guided walking holidays in the Cotswolds, we like to think that we offer unrivalled expertise in the region, whether it be our extraordinary knowledge of its footpaths, trails, villages, hotels, restaurants, pubs or its endless possibilities for any kind of tailor-made walking holiday.

Being located near the summit of Cleeve Hill, which is the highest point of the Cotswolds and at the region’s very heart, gives us a real edge in the market. Our founder, Christopher Knowles, a widely renowned expert in the area and who has books published on the region, was the first to offer a programme of self-guided walking holidays here over thirty years ago, now much imitated by companies outside the region, which are therefore unaware of local conditions.

Our team is truly local, knowledgeable and friendly, with an attention to detail which allows our clients to experience the best guided and self-guided walking holidays in the UK.

We look forward to helping you plan & book your stay in The Cotswolds.

The Cotswolds

The Cotswolds is an area of gentle hills, but with a maximum altitude of just over one thousand feet, walking here is within the reach of almost anyone. Yet, those same hills mean that wonderful, dramatic views are possible with comparatively little effort – views down to gem-like villages, and across valleys and plains to the Black Mountains in Wales, the Malvern Hills and the Forest of Dean, another beautiful part of Gloucestershire beyond the River Severn.
