What’s on in June in the Cotswolds


The Cotswolds are great at any time of the year, but June in the Cotswolds is particularly lovely, summer has just begun, the countryside looks insanely beautiful and there are loads of fun things to get into.  

Giffords Circus

This year is Gifford’s Circus 25th anniversary and they put on a brillaint show. The circus tours around some of the hot spots of the area offering family fun and entertainment.

If you fancy making an evening of it you can also book into Circus Sauce, the pop up restaurant offering a gorgeous three-course meal and entertainment along the way. You can bring your own booze too which will make the evening go with a bang!




Cheltenham Science Festival

The Cheltenham Science Festival is in full swing and will be running for the next few days, so get yourselves down to Imperial Square to join in the fun.

This is a really family friendly event with something for all ages to get involved in.

You will need tickets for this event so the best thing to do is take a look at their website and book from there. The children’s events are always really busy and sell out but are just brilliant, interactive fun for the little ones who absolutely love it.

Sunday 10th June sees Jay Foreman, an award winning musical comedian put on a family friendly comedy show for all ages.

If you fancy something a little bit different this June in the Cotswolds then definitely go along.

Corinium Museum

Throughout the month of June there’s a lot going on at the Corinium Museum; Roman Soldier on a Stick, Family Film Friday, the Inside Out exhibition, What are They Wearing evening lecture and loads more.

The museum is located in the heart of Cirencester and always has loads of fun stuff going on so definitely worth keeping your eye on their website.


The Cotswold Farm Park

If you are looking for something to do in June in the Cotswolds and haven’t been to the Farm Park then you really must.

A great day out for all ages you’ll find farm animals that you can get up close and personal with, lovely walks and adventures, playgrounds galore for the little ones and a great cafe to refuel.

During the Fathers Day weekend Dad’s even get in for free!




Whatever you decide to get up to in June in the Costwold’s you’ll have a great time, its a beautiful time of the year, the temperature is balmy  and the countryside is looking particularly special.

If you don’t want to pay to go to an organised event then just simply take one of the many walking routes and get out into nature.
